Great Smoky Mountains National Park Starter Pack

Traveling to National Parks can be overwhelming as there is a plethora of trails to choose from. Each trail offers a unique beauty from the next. It can feel impossible to hike all you’d like to see. More than likely, it is. (Unless, of course, you’re planning for an extended amount of time in the area.)

I’ve now been to Great Smoky Mountains National Park twice in 2021. Both trips totaled four days spent in the park. Since my time was limited, I heavily researched trails, waterfalls, and other unique experiences in the park. My list isn’t exhaustive, but includes some highlights. Please consider this list a starting point for your research before you travel to Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

The trails I have personally hiked are indicated by photos I took.

If you’d like to hear more about my experience in the park or have any questions, please DM me on Instagram.
